How it works

From the first call to boots on site.

Every client is different, but the path is the same one every time. Here it is in order, with nothing left out and nothing that happens only after you have signed something.

  1. Tell us the order

Trade and classification, headcount, location, start date, shift, and what the site requires for PPE, testing and certifications.

  2. We set you up and recruit

Terms and rates are agreed in writing, then recruiters work the order against the classification and credentials your site needs.

  3. You approve the people and the rates

Candidates come to you with their rates before anyone is dispatched. If a candidate is not right, the order stays open.

  4. We dispatch and stay on it

People start, and we check in with you and with the crew in that first week — separately, because the two sides tell you different things.

What we need from you

Eight answers and we can start recruiting.

Every order gets filled off the same information, and each answer changes who we look for. Have these ready and the first call is short — the request form asks for exactly this list.

Project location
City and state.
Start date
Firm, or approximate.
Trade and classification
Journeyman, apprentice, foreman, laborer, admin.
Headcount
For the run, and for day one.
Shift and hours
Days, nights, weekends, hours per week.
PPE
What the site requires and what it supplies.
Drug testing
Required, and which panel.
Certifications
Licenses, OSHA, badging.

The first week decides the rest.

Most staffing goes wrong in the first few days, and it goes wrong quietly. The worker is unclear on the scope. The superintendent expected a different classification. Nobody says anything until week two, by which point it is a problem instead of a question.

So we call both sides on day one. You, to hear whether the person we sent is doing what you needed. The worker, to hear whether the job is what we described. When those two answers do not match, we would rather find out on Monday afternoon than at the end of the month.
